OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department (OPD) is trying to figure out who shot and killed a 24-year-old man on Sunday.
The shooting happened around 11:25 p.m. at the 2800 block of NE 8th Terrace.
OPD says Derrick Brown Jr. was shot. Paramedics transported him to HCA Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
“If anyone has information that may help our detectives in their investigation, please come forward,” said OPD in a post on Facebook.
