ORLANDO, FL (352today.com) – The fog rolls in as the lights go out. From late August through early November, Universal Studios Florida once again transforms into a living nightmare for Halloween Horror Nights 2025–an event that’s part film set and entirely unforgettable.

Now in its 34th year, HHN continues to raise the bar for immersive horror, offering 10 haunted houses, five scare zones and two live shows spread across the park. Each attraction feels like its own film brought to life, stitched together by a cinematic theme that celebrates artistry, nostalgia and pure fear.

The Originals: Fear From the Ground Up

This year’s original lineup showcases Universal’s imaginative muscle–each house built from scratch, with no cinematic inspiration required.

El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, headlines the collection, a descent into the mind of a tormented painter whose creations come disturbingly alive. It’s a surreal, sensory house filled with dripping canvases and whispering sculptures. In Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, giggling toys turn sadistic as guests navigate a playroom gone rotten. Grave of Flesh leans gothic, taking visitors to a decaying plantation where the land itself hungers. Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters throws guests into a supernatural Wild West, complete with cursed gunslingers and fiery demons, while Gálkn: Monsters of the North channels Norse dread, sending guests through the frostbitten fjords.

Each original house delivers its own tone–from eerie and poetic to chaotic and gory –but together, they remind fans that Universal’s scariest ideas often come from within.

The IPs: When Pop Culture Turns to Horror

On the other side of the fog are the houses built on familiar names, where Universal turns beloved franchises into living nightmares.

The long-awaited Five Nights at Freddy’s house pulls fans inside the flickering halls of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where animatronic mascots stalk from the shadows. Damien Leone’s Terrifier captures the brutality of Art the Clown in a gore-drenched maze that doesn’t let up, while Jason Universe reimagines Friday the 13th by merging multiple eras of Jason Voorhees into one sprawling, forested terror. WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks brings a unique twist–a haunted wrestling arena inspired by Bray Wyatt’s legacy, blurring the line between sports entertainment and psychological horror. Rounding out the lineup, Fallout invites guests into a glowing wasteland straight out of the Amazon television show inspired by the video game series, complete with ghouls, vault dwellers and the eerie hum of pre-war America.

Beyond the Houses

The terror doesn’t stop there. Five scare zones fill the park’s streets with roaming monsters, from the eerie elegance of Masquerade: Dance with Death to the radioactive chaos of Mutations: Toxic Twenties. Fan-favorite Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay brings fire and acrobatics, while the new lagoon show, Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey offers a haunting musical escape.

Tickets start at $89.99, with Express Passes and R.I.P Tours available for thrill-seekers wanting to hit every house in one night. Whether you’re chasing jump scares or just soaking in the fog, Halloween Horror Nights proves again that no one stages fear quite like Universal Orlando.
