MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – After several weeks of weekend rain chances, the National Weather Service forecast for North Central Florida calls for clear skies over the next few days.

(Not that we didn’t need or couldn’t use the rain.)

This weekend, look for sunny days and temps climbing from the mid-70s into the 80s, with overnight forecasts rising through the high 40s and into the high 50s by Sunday night.

Friday, March 20

Day: Sunny, with a high near 77. Northeast wind 3 to 7 mph. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Night: Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 46. Light and variable wind.

Saturday, March 21

Day: Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Sunday, March 22

Day: Sunny, with a high near 84.
Night: Clear, with a low around 57.
