MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – As of Thursday afternoon, it looks like most of North Central Florida is going to skate on most of the potential fallout from Hurricane Isaias; the National Weather Service’s weekend forecast for the region doesn’t mention severe weather, other than a flood warning from all this consistent rain, and that expires Thursday night.
(Residents of Levy and Citrus counties do need to keep a keen eye on developments, however, and be ready to pivot if the storm does.)
The rain that’s been falling for more than three days straight now will be with us pretty consistently until Sunday night, when things will start drying out. We might also get some gusty winds, but they’re not predicted to exceed around 20 mph max. Daytime temps have been pushed down into the 80s by the front, while nights remain muggy in the 70s.
