352 WEEKEND WEATHER JAN. 23-25: Warm Days with a Chance of Rain on Sunday

According to the National Weather Service, the Marion County region will see a nice weekend and not experience any fallout from the storm buffeting the rest of the country until Monday night's cold front.

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – As the rest of the East Coast gears up for a winter storm of the century, the National Weather Service says the North Central Florida region is actually in for some unseasonably warm daytime temperatures over the next few days.

Saturday’s daytime high is 78, but that’ll be low compared to the 80s forecast for Friday and Sunday. Rain may move in overnight Sunday before another cold front, but that’s a problem for the Workweek Weather forecast, right?

Friday, Jan. 23

Day: Areas of fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph.
Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. Light northeast wind.

Saturday, Jan. 24

Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 78. East wind 5 to 8 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Sunday, Jan. 25

Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 84.
Night: Showers likely, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
