Across North Central Florida, farms, community organizations and local attractions are getting ready for the season with pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hayrides, fall festivals and other autumn activities. Fall Festival at Cannon Farms

Cannon Farms is welcoming fall with pumpkins, sunflowers, fresh produce and plenty of farm activities. Visitors can pick pumpkins right off the vine, explore the sunflower and zinnia fields, visit farm animals, take a wagon ride and let kids enjoy activities around the farm. The farm will also have a mercantile and produce stand, fresh lemonade, food trucks ad local vendors on select days, along with plenty of opportunities for fall photos.

Circle Square Commons Fall Festival

Circle Square Commons is kicking off fall with an evening festival featuring live music, dancing, food trucks, axe throwing, a pie-eating contest, pumpkin patch, face painting and a selfie station. Visitors can also meet Circus, a gentle carousel miniature therapy horse, during a special photo opportunity from 5 to 6 p.m. Live performances are scheduled throughout the evening.

The festival is Sept. 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. at 8405 SW 80th St. in Ocala. Admission is free and the event is open to the public, weather permitting. Crossroads Farm & Apiary Fall Festival & Corn Maze

Crossroads Farm & Apiary is bringing a full day of farm activities to its fall festival, including a pumpkin patch, crop maze, hayride, train rides, a Moo train, bounce pad, playground, animals, corn bin, hay bale jungle gym and festival games. Visitors can also browse the farm store for honey and handmade crafts or take part in additional activities such as pumpkin chunkin’, flower picking, animal feeding and a beekeeper encounter.

The festival runs Oct. 3 through Nov. 1 at 3831 NW 156th Ave. in Gainesville. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 6 p.m. Sundays. Great Scott Farm Fall Festival & Corn Maze

Great Scott Farms is bringing back its fall festival with a giant corn maze, pumpkin patch, photo opportunities, farm tours and activities including a jumping pillow, 60-foot super slide, castle playground, corn pit and gem mining. Visitors can also stop by the farm market and enjoy food, drinks and craft vendors during their visit.

Hollow Oaks Corn Maze

Hollow Oaks Corn Maze offers a classic fall challenge for visitors looking to get lost among the corn. The attraction opens for the fall season in September, with the maze and other activities providing a family-friendly outing. Visitors can also stay later for a more intense experience as the evening hours continue.

The 2026 season opens Sept. 26 and continues every weekend in October and the first weekend of November. Mayhem Ranch Fall Festival & Crop Maze

Mayhem Ranch’s fall festival combines a U-pick pumpkin patch with a full day of farm activities. Visitors can make their way through the crop maze, meet exotic farm animals and enjoy seasonal attractions while spending a day on the farm. Live music is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For visitors who prefer their fall fun with a little more fright, the Newberry Cornfield Maze offers a nighttime experience built around its corn maze and haunted attractions. Visitors can make their way through the maze after dark before taking on a haunted house or haunted hayride. For a break from the scares, the attraction also offers a mechanical zombie bull and human hamster balls.

Newberry Cornfield Maze is at 20015 W. Newberry Rd. in Newberry. The 2026 haunted season runs Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 18 through Oct. 24, with gates open from 5 to 11 p.m. Admission is $27.50 online and $20 at the gate for those 10 and up, and $22.50 online and $15 at the gate for 9 and under. Ocala Pumpkin Patch

The Ocala Pumpkin Patch offers a traditional fall experience right in the city, with pumpkins, wagon rides and a lineup of family-friendly events throughout October. Along with pumpkin-picking fun, the patch will host special events including a fall community fair, trunk-or-treat and Arts in the Patch.
