OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department arrested a 69-year-old Ocala man Thursday and charged him with several crimes related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), human trafficking and bestiality.
According to the OPD statement, the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and began investigating William Hoyle via forensic analysis, subpoena and search warrants.
“Hoyle was found to have requested child abuse content, solicited a mother to harm a child, and offered gift cards as payment,” read the announcement, in part.
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, authorities executed a search warrant on Hoyle’s home, which is located “next to Fort King Middle School.”
The search culminated in Hoyle being arrested and charged with multiple felonies, “including possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, human trafficking, transmission of harmful material to a minor, solicitation of a parent for unlawful sexual contact with a child, aggravated use of a child in a sexual performance, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and possession of bestiality.”
The OPD reminded parents and others to stay vigilant and watch for signs of suspicious or illicit online activity.
