OCALA, FL (352today) – A 73-year-old man was last reported in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck on November 3.
The Ocala Police Department (OPD) confirms that Ishmael Braddock is in critical but stable condition at the HCA Ocala Hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries from the incident.
OPD says officers responded to the 900 block of North Pine Avenue in the vicinity of the Hardee’s restaurant and OLA Coffee a little before 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. They say a pickup truck hauling a boat hit Braddock sending him to the hospital.

Police are still investigating the crash.
