OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Whether you’re an avid angler, weekend camper, hunter, boater or simply someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, the 8th Annual North Central Florida Outdoor Expo promises something for every kind of adventurer.
Returning to the World Equestrian Center on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, the one-day event has grown into one of the region’s largest celebrations of the outdoor lifestyle, bringing together more than 100 vendors, exhibitors and organizations under one roof for a full day of shopping, demonstrations, education and family-friendly entertainment.
Hosted by North Central Florida Media Group, the expo has become a summer tradition since launching in 2018, attracting everyone from seasoned outdoorsmen to families looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday together. Instead of driving from store to store or searching online for the latest gear, visitors can browse everything in one air-conditioned venue while talking directly with experts and manufacturers.
Attendees can explore exhibits featuring hunting, fishing, camping, boating, off-roading, backyard living and outdoor recreation. Along the way they’ll find product demonstrations, educational seminars, conservation organizations, local outfitters, adventure destinations and plenty of opportunities to discover new hobbies or sharpen existing skills.
Families are a major focus of the event. Interactive activities and hands-on exhibits help introduce younger visitors to the outdoors, while many vendors offer games, contests, giveaways and expo-only specials throughout the day. Whether it’s learning about Florida’s natural resources, checking out the latest fishing equipment or planning the next camping trip, the expo is designed to be as entertaining as it is informative.
For outdoor enthusiasts, one of the biggest draws is the chance to meet representatives from local businesses, state agencies and nonprofit organizations that work to preserve Florida’s natural spaces while promoting safe and responsible recreation. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, compare products and discover destinations throughout North Central Florida.
The event will be held inside Expo Center 2 at the World Equestrian Center, offering visitors a comfortable indoor setting regardless of the August heat. Free parking is available on-site, with accessible parking located near the entrance and shuttle service available from parking areas.
Admission is intentionally affordable. Tickets are $5 for adults and are available at the door on the day of the event. Payment at the gate is cash only, although an ATM will be available on-site. Children ages 17 and younger are admitted free with an accompanying adult, making it an inexpensive outing for families.
The 8th Annual North Central Florida Outdoor Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Expo Center 2, World Equestrian Center, 1598 NW 87th Court Road in Ocala. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full day of activities, browse the extensive vendor lineup and take advantage of special offers available only during the event.
