GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – The Gators are back in The Swamp Saturday and are looking to redeem themselves after a tough loss against Kentucky.

“Action and Attitude” are two main focuses for the Gators as of right now. Head coach Billy Napier shared in a press conference Wednesday, Oct. 4 that their game this weekend is the time for them to put those main points into play.

“We control our actions, and we control our attitude. We play Vanderbilt Saturday at 4 p.m. That’s our next opportunity, and that’s what we’re focused on,” said Napier.

The Gators suffered a 33-14 loss against the Wildcats. Napier’s mindset is they are moving forward despite the difficulties. In response to the tough loss, Napier shared that in his own life, the more challenging things he’s been through, the better he became.

Can Florida come back from adversity and pull off a win against the Commodores to get back on track?

Let’s take a look at the numbers…

According to Florida’s football program, they lead the all-time series 43-11. However, last year the Gators lost to Vandy 24-31. The year before, Florida completely dominated the Commodores with a 42-0 win.

Both teams suffered losses last week with Florida’s previously mentioned loss against Kentucky and Vandy losing in a close game against Mizzou.

The Gators will be looking to regain the power and secure a win for their homecoming game, and they’ll need all the fan support they can get.

If you plan to attend the game, you are encouraged to wear BLUE to cheer on your Gators. If you are unable to make it, you can catch the game on SEC Network.

Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
