WALDO, FL (352today.com) – As Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputies assessed the damages caused by Hurricane Milton on Thursday morning, they stumbled upon something rather sharp and toothy.
Although home to the Gators, it’s seldom a pleasant surprise for a homeowner in The Swamp to see one casually walk along their driveway.

ACSO received a call from a house in Waldo for this precise circumstance.
After being dispatched, deputies quickly captured the small alligator before temporarily muzzling it for transportation.
Deputies then relocated the gator to Lake Alto, where he’s hopefully learned a valuable lesson: not to solicit on someone’s property.
