ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A kitten in Alachua County now has eight lives remaining after being saved by the grasp of a fire rescue crew.

On Thursday, the Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) team responded to a call for help save a kitten under the hood of a car.

Once on scene, ACFR says firefighters found a kitten trapped in the engine compartment of a BMW.

They evaluated the situation and figured out a way to safely extract the curious four-legged critter from the car.

According to ACFR, no injuries were reported to the kitten. Meow!
