MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – It’s been nearly three years since 18-year-old Sara Ebersole left a friend’s house in the early hours of March 3, 2023, and disappeared.
Now, an anonymous donor is reportedly offering a $35,000 reward for information leading to knowledge of what happened to her.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Ebersole was last seen at a 24-hour convenience store in northwest Marion County on the morning in question, with a person of interest named Tyrone Morman. However, Morman has refused to cooperate with authorities, and there have been no new leads in the case.
In a new report published by Fox 35 Orlando on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, Ebersole’s sister Michele Tullis said someone is putting up a new $35,000 reward, a substantial increase from the previous existing reward of $4,000.
Morman continues to be the sole person of interest in the case.
Anyone with relevant information is asked to call the MCSO’s non-emergency line at 352-732-9111 or contact Crime Stoppers of Marion County anonymously at 352-368-STOP (7867).
