MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – For the third time in two days, another motorcycle rider has died on Marion County roads.

The latest happened Saturday, Oct. 28, around 10 a.m. at the intersection of SW 60th Avenue and SW 66th Street.

The Floriday Highway Patrol (FHP) says a 25-year-old Ocala man died when his motorcycle collided with a truck being driven by a 63-year-old man from Belleview.

Troopers say the truck driver was traveling northbound on SW 60th Avenue and turned at the intersection of SW 66th Street. They say the motorcycle was headed southbound on SW 60th Avenue when the truck pulled in front of the motorcycle. Troopers say the motorcycle rider hit the front passenger door of the truck and landed on the road.

FHP says the motorcycle rider who was wearing a helmet died at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

On Friday afternoon, two other motorcycle riders died in two separate wrecks in Ocala.
