OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala invites the community to its Free First Saturday event this Saturday, Jan. 4, offering a day filled with art, entertainment, and family fun.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy free admission to explore the museum’s collections and exhibitions, including the final weekend of Common Thread, a captivating photography exhibition by Theresa Segal.

Families can unleash their creativity with free artmaking activities in the Artspace, open all day, and enjoy a screening of Disney’s beloved animated musical, Frozen (2013). The film will be shown in the auditorium at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with no reservations required.

The Heavenly Foods and Devilish Treats food truck will be onsite throughout the day, serving up delicious bites to purchase.

Free First Saturdays are made possible with support from Campus USA Credit Union, Marion Cultural Alliance, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
