BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview is excited to announce a new partnership with Everyday Church, launching at tonight’s Friday Foodie Fest from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lake Lillian. In addition to enjoying delicious food from local vendors, attendees will have the opportunity to give back to the community by supporting the church’s Food Pantry Program through donations of nonperishable food items.
Visitors are encouraged to bring food donations, with high-need items including canned vegetables and meats, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, and boxed meals like mac and cheese. The collection will take place at the Everyday Church booth, where attendees can also learn more about the pantry’s efforts to fight food insecurity in the area.

“We know that many families in our community face challenges in making ends meet, and food insecurity is an issue that affects a lot of people,” said Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager for Belleview. “The pandemic and rising costs have made it even harder for some to provide consistent meals for their families. By coming together as a community and contributing, we can help ease the burden for those who need it most.”
Vass also expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re thrilled that Everyday Church is joining us for the Friday Foodie Fest this year. Their commitment to giving back to our community through the Food Pantry Program is an inspiring example of how our local organizations work to help those in need.”
All food donations collected at the event will go directly toward stocking the church’s food pantry, which provides emergency food assistance to families and individuals facing hardship. The City of Belleview encourages all attendees to make a difference by contributing to this meaningful cause.
