OCALA, FL (352.today.com) – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is launching a plan to reduce congestion and improve reliability on I-75.

The Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative allowed FDOT to advance the much needed I-75 improvements with construction anticipated to begin in spring 2025.

This project cuts right through the portion of I-75 in the 352 area.

FDOT wants to tell you about the plans, let you know how it will affect you and get your input.

Here are all the ways you can learn more information.

In-Person Open House Options:
You’re invited to attend in-person sessions to view a looping presentation, see project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.

Date: Monday, Dec. 11

Location: Savannah Center, 1545 North Buena Vista Blvd., The Villages

Date: Wednesday, Dec. 13
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Ocala Hilton, 3600 SW 36th Ave., Ocala

Virtual Option:
Can’t make in person? You can also join from a computer, tablet, or mobile device at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14.

For this option, advance registration is required. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email with the online meeting details.
