Crews are actively on-site conducting repairs and working as quickly as possible to restore service.

As a precaution, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for all customers in the affected areas which include:

  • Bent Tree
  • Boyd Plaza
  • Brookhaven
  • Cherrywood
  • Cherrywood Estates
  • Copperleaf
  • Freedom Commons
  • Freedom Crossings
  • Graystone
  • Hardwood Trails

  • Liberty Village
  • Majestic Oaks
  • Meadow Glen
  • Oak Trace Villas
  • Ocala Crossing South
  • Pidgeon Park
  • Pioneer Ranch
  • Sun Country

Residents should:

  • Bring all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
  • Continue boiling water until further notice.
  • Once repairs are complete and water service is restored, the notice will remain in effect until bacteriological testing confirms the water is safe to drink. An announcement lifting this precautionary boil water notice will be issued at that time.

In addition to the ongoing repair work, the Marion County Utilities billing system is currently down, and we are experiencing higher-than-normal call volumes. We appreciate your patience as we address both issues.
