Booze bandits raid The Villages Publix, swipe $900 in liquor, and deputies want your tips to nab them
Marion County detectives release surveillance images of two suspects who filled a bag and basket before slipping away; anonymous Crime Stoppers tips could earn a cash reward.
MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking for your help in identifying two suspects involved in a theft at the Publix Liquor Store on SE 165th Mulberry Lane in The Villages.
The incident occurred on June 30, 2025. According to MCSO, one suspect used a shopping bag while the other used a basket, and together they allegedly stole over $900 worth of liquor before leaving the store without paying.
