Booze bandits raid The Villages Publix, swipe $900 in liquor, and deputies want your tips to nab them

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking for your help in identifying two suspects involved in a theft at the Publix Liquor Store on SE 165th Mulberry Lane in The Villages.
The incident occurred on June 30, 2025. According to MCSO, one suspect used a shopping bag while the other used a basket, and together they allegedly stole over $900 worth of liquor before leaving the store without paying.
If you recognize these people or have information about the theft, MCSO asks that you contact them at 352-732-9111.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Marion County by calling 352-368-STOP (7867) or online at ocalacrimestoppers.com. Refer to case number 25-16. Tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
