WILDWOOD, FL (352today.com) – The City of Wildwood has informed the public that utility crews are on-scene and working to fix a water main break at the intersection of U.S. HWY 301 and SR 44 in Wildwood.
“Our team is working as quickly as possible with partners to identify all nearby utilities so that repairs can begin,” said City Manager Jason McHugh in an announcement. “Clearly, we want to restore water to our customers as fast as we can while adhering to all necessary and appropriate safety protocols.”
At press time crews are still working on the break. No further information as to the cause of the rupture is available at this time.
