The National Weather Service says there is the potential for a light freeze and frost across north-central Florida this weekend.
Good news it looks like we’re in for a dry -as in no rain- New Year’s Eve.

Here’s the day-by-day outlook from the NWS:
Today: Patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 60. Light west wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Tonight: Patchy frost after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 36. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Sunday: Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
New Year’s Day: Sunny, with a high near 68. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.
