Original (1/24, 9:04 a.m.) – The Belleview Police Department (BPD) has released footage showing two men who reportedly stole from a local business.
A Ring camera captured footage on Dec. 27, 2024, showing two men lurking around the front of a business. BPD has not disclosed the name of the business as the investigation remains active, but says it is located on SE 102nd Pl.
The footage on Facebook shows two men pulling up to the front of the building in a black truck.
The two men exit the truck, one wearing a red hoodie and the other wearing a high-visibility shirt.
The man in the red hoodie approaches the business and shines a flashlight next to the Ring camera.
He utters, “What’s that thing for?”
The Ring camera responds back, “Hi. You are currently being recorded.”
This prompts the man in the red hoodie to leave the building and return to the black truck.

BPD did not specify what the men stole from the business but said the case is being investigated as a burglary and grand theft.
Anyone with information on the identity of the two men is asked to call BPD at 352-245-7044.
