CRYSTAL RIVER, FL (352today.com) – The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is looking for a bold thief who they say stole a tractor from Rural King in Crystal River.
Deputies say the thief stole a red 2023 RK55 open station hydrostatic tractor with a front-end loader and backhoe attachment around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Pricing information listed on the Rural King website indicates the tractor in question would be worth more than $30,000.
In a Facebook post, CCSO says the tractor was “driven out of the parking lot and was last seen being driven southbound on U.S. Highway 19 near the intersection of Highway 44.”
Deputies provided photos from security cameras in the area. They say the thief arrived on a white sport bike wearing a dark jacket, brown backpack, dark jeans and brown boots.
If you can provide any information, CCSO asks that you call 352-249-2790 and reference case 2023-10539 and 2023-10548.
