ContributedMCASMeet this week's pets available for adoption from Marion County Animal Services - Viola, Sasha, and Aspen.
OCALA, FL (352today.com) – “Help meowt” – that’s the message from Marion County Animal Services (MCAS) for June, National Adopt a Cat month. MCAS reported 27 adoptable cats and 110 adoptable dogs as of June 4.
For the entire month, MCAS is offering $5 cat adoptions. And, because two is better than one, adoptions are buy-one-get-one. This means you can take home two cats for just $5, saving you money to spend on that new cat tree or a bag of treats.
Dog adoptions are also discounted to $25 for the month of June. These sweet pets of the week are just some of the adoptable animals at MCAS who are looking for a forever home.
TAKE ME HOME THIS WEEK – JUNE 6, 2024
Viola loves to sit pretty for the camera. Her deep, soulful eyes let you know she’s listening and make you feel like the most important person in the world. Our Working Whiskers program pairs people in need of rodent prevention with less-social cats, and Sasha is a looking for a lifelong job. Courtesy: MCASWho’s looking for an adventure dog? Three-year-old Aspen might be your type of girl. She wonders what it would be like to ride on a boat, climb a steep hill, and explore nature under the canopy of old trees. Maybe you’ve been wanting friend with which to do those same things? Courtesy: MCAS
