FORT PIERCE, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida (CF) Patriots are headed to the FCSAA Final Four after overwhelming Indian River State College 12-1 in game two of the Ft. Pierce regional on Saturday. The victory completed a two-game sweep of the Pioneers, with CF outscoring them 25-6 across the series.
Marcus Bradshaw ended the game in dramatic fashion, launching a two-out, three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth to trigger the run-rule and seal the win. He finished with two hits and four RBI.
The Patriots’ bats were hot from the start, scoring in every inning except the third. Miles Curley (two hits, double, three RBI), Victor Martinez (two hits, RBI), and Tanner Swank (three hits, three runs, RBI) also helped power the offense.

On the mound, Brayden Toro (5-3) was in command, throwing his fourth complete game of the season. The right-hander allowed just four hits and one run over five innings, striking out three without issuing a walk.
With the win, CF improves to 36-16 and advances to next weekend’s FCSAA Final Four at the Tampa Bay Rays facility in Port Charlotte. The double-elimination tournament will determine who moves on to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. Indian River ends their season at 34-16.
