OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida (CF) women’s cross country team made history on Nov. 12 at the NJCAA Half Marathon National Championship with a remarkable team performance. Highlights include:

  • Team Achievement
    • Average team time of 1:42:09 for the 13.1-mile race.
    • Finished 14th overall out of 20 teams.
    • Ranked 4th among Division II teams out of nine.
  • Individual Highlights
    • Magda Barcia: Led the team with a personal and school record of 1:38:52.6, shaving over six minutes off her previous best. Averaged a 7:32 per-mile pace.
