OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida Patriots (4-0) kept their perfect start alive with a 9-4 win over A3 Academy on Tuesday afternoon.

Reliever Miles Curley (1-0) earned the win, throwing 2.2 innings of no-hit, scoreless baseball with four strikeouts. Evan Dobias added two shutout innings with two strikeouts.

At the plate, Victor Martinez Jr. led the Patriots, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs. Jacob McKenzie contributed a run-scoring double.

Head Coach Marty Smith said, “The energy level seemed to be down some today, but we were able to overcome the slow start and produce some runs when we needed it.”
