OCALA, FL (352today.com) – For more than three decades, Chris’ Carpet Care has been helping businesses and homeowners keep their spaces looking their best.
To mark this milestone, the company celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event on Feb. 27, hosted by the Ocala Metro CEP. “It was 30 years [on Feb. 23],” said Chris Nierling, owner of Chris’ Carpet Care. “When I started this, I didn’t think about 30 years. So, I never thought I would get to this point.”

Reaching this milestone shifted Nierling’s perspective, inspiring him to focus on building a lasting legacy. Fortunately, the business has a longtime technician – who also happens to be named Chris – whom Nierling plans to pass the baton to as the company moves forward.
“This is a good opportunity as the next step in growing my business,” said Nierling. “I think this will be very helpful in establishing a lot more connections. I’m big on networking, so that’s not a problem. Helping each other grow – that’s what the community needs to do. We have to support each other; that’s the only way you stay and survive.”
The Ocala Metro CEP expressed gratitude for Chris’ Carpet Care’s impact on the community and the services it has provided over the past three decades.
Nierling’s philosophy of quality service and community engagement has left a lasting impression, touching thousands of lives. As his business grew, his focus expanded beyond exceptional service to giving back to the community, said Jess Schultz, Ocala Metro CEP Vice President of Partner Engagement.
“Your commitment to serving others has gotten you 30 years of success,” said Schultz just before the ribbon cutting. “That is a formula for success. We’re so thankful that you found a tech with the same name, so you can just pass it on with no confusion.” The crowd laughed at Schultz’s reference to the other Chris.
