CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is asking for assistance in identifying suspects involved in a series of vehicle burglaries that took place between Oct. 12 and 15, 2024.

CCSO says that the burglaries, along with the theft of a golf cart, were reported within a 1.5-mile radius in Floral City, specifically in the areas of S. Appaloosa Ave, E. Derby Oaks Dr, E Northlake Dr, and S. Drew Bryant Cir. Based on the timeline of the reports, they say that the incidents are believed to have occurred overnight between Oct. 11 and 14.

Surveillance footage captured three suspects dressed in hoodies, pants, masks, and gloves, with some wearing distinct-looking shoes. Deputies say that many of the vehicles targeted were left unsecured, and several firearms were among the stolen items.

Authorities are urging residents to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity.
