BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview is launching an exciting new initiative for local homeschool families: the Homeschool Hub: Community Connection Series. This monthly program, starting Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, will take place on the second Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Belleview Community Center.
Designed to foster educational enrichment, social interaction, and a sense of community, the Homeschool Hub offers themed workshops, hands-on activities, and opportunities for families to connect. Each session includes a light lunch and covers a range of topics from STEM and art to civic engagement and history.

Mayor Christine Dobkowski highlighted the program’s community focus, stating, “Belleview is a community that cares deeply about its families. The Homeschool Hub is a fantastic way for homeschoolers to come together, learn, and feel part of something larger. This program embodies our city’s commitment to providing opportunities for all children to grow, connect, and thrive.”
Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager for the City of Belleview, emphasized the program’s impact. “Homeschoolers often miss out on the structured opportunities provided in traditional school settings,” Vass said. “This program bridges that gap by offering a space for learning, creativity, and connection. From STEM and art to civic engagement, the topics are designed to inspire curiosity and build community bonds.”
