BELLEVIEW, FL. (352 Today) — The City of Belleview is proud to welcome residents and visitors to its annual holiday event, Light Up Lake Lillian, on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 2–7 p.m. at Lake Lillian. This free community tradition offers festive fun, live entertainment, a vendor marketplace, and the highly anticipated holiday tree lighting.

Expanded Holiday Lighting

This year, the celebration shines even brighter. Thanks to a new partnership with Holiday Outdoor Décor, trees surrounding Lake Lillian will be wrapped in colorful light patterns, while light poles throughout the park will sparkle with holiday tinsel. The enhanced display promises to bring even more beauty and cheer to Belleview’s holiday season.

Vendor Opportunities

Registration is open now for nonprofits, cottage industry vendors, and non-food truck businesses. Each vendor will receive a 10’ x 10’ booth space. Local artisans, makers, and organizations are encouraged to join and share their products with thousands of attendees. Vendors may register online at www.belleviewfl.org/172/local-events.

Light Up Lake Lillian offers something for all ages, including:

  • Holiday vendor marketplace with unique crafts, gifts, and seasonal items
  • Cookie decorating, sponsored by The Church on the Hill
  • Felt ornament making, sponsored by the Lions Club of Orange Blossom Gardens/Lady Lake
  • Food trucks with a wide variety of options
  • Meet & Greet with Santa
  • Live music and the finale tree lighting around Lake Lillian

City Leaders Share Excitement

“This is one of Belleview’s most beloved traditions, and it continues to grow each year,” said City Administrator Mariah Moody. “Light Up Lake Lillian is about families gathering, children laughing, and neighbors connecting. With our expanded lighting displays, the park will truly be transformed into a festive wonderland for the community.”

Robert Vass, Community Engagement Liaison, added: “Every year, this event brings families, businesses, and organizations together. We want kids to remember decorating cookies and making crafts, parents to enjoy the shopping and music, and everyone to walk away with the spirit of the holidays. This year, we’re raising the bar to make it the best celebration yet.”
