BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview is expanding its partnership with the Belleview Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) in 2026, marking another step forward in strengthening collaboration between local government and the business community. The Belleview CEP, led by Director Joe Reichel, plays a key role in connecting business owners, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders throughout the region, providing support that drives economic development and local investment.

Under the expanded partnership the CEP will have access to two dedicated tents at each Friday Foodie Fest, a signature event held the 3rd Friday of each month, Jan. to Sept., at Lake Lillian. These spaces will allow the CEP to provide information on their own offerings and feature one of its partner Belleview businesses at each event, highlighting the people and organizations that strengthen Belleview’s economy. The initiative aims to provide direct exposure for small and locally owned businesses, while giving residents a chance to learn more about the products and services available right in their own community.

In addition to their expanded presence at city events, the Belleview CEP will also take an increased role in promoting the City of Belleview Property Improvement Grant Program, which offers financial assistance to businesses making certain types of property improvements. The program helps business owners enhance the look, accessibility, and appeal of their properties as an important part of the city’s long-term goal to foster a more welcoming and prosperous commercial environment.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen how collaboration between the city and our business community can create real progress,” said Robert Vass, Community Engagement Liaison for the City of Belleview. “By inviting the CEP to take a larger role in promoting city programs and highlighting local businesses, we’re strengthening the bridge between government resources and the entrepreneurs who drive Belleview’s local economy.”

Belleview CEP Director Joe Reichel emphasized that this partnership aligns perfectly with the CEP’s mission to support business growth through networking, visibility, and advocacy. “The Belleview CEP exists to connect businesses with the tools they need to thrive,” Reichel said. “By working closely with the city, we can help more business owners learn about valuable programs like the improvement grant, and we can spotlight the outstanding work being done by our members at community events like Friday Foodie Fest. This partnership benefits everyone.”

The Friday Foodie Fest series, hosted monthly by the City of Belleview, features local food trucks, live entertainment, family activities, and vendor spaces that showcase the area’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The addition of the CEP’s member business highlights will further enrich the event experience, giving attendees a chance to meet and support the people who keep Belleview growing.
