OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The City of Ocala Water Resources Department tested out its new Vactor truck on July 23, describing it as a major upgrade in maintaining the city’s underground infrastructure.

Enhanced capabilities for cleaner, safer systems

The high-powered truck combines high-pressure water and vacuum suction to:

  • Clear sewer lines of grease, roots, and debris
  • Excavate safely around underground utilities
  • Improve access for inspections and maintenance
  • Clean storm drains to reduce flooding during storms
