OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The City of Ocala has set the date for this year’s Boo Bash, an event sponsored by the Recreation and Parks Department that’s provided, safe family-friendly Halloween thrills for the community for more than a decade now.
Parents, mark your calendars: Boo Bash 2026 returns Friday, October 30, 2026, at E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, located at 1510 NW 4th St. in Ocala.
“This year’s event will feature trick-or-treating, games, spooky activities, crafts, music and plenty of candy,” read the announcement. “Costumes are encouraged, and attendees of all ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.”
Speaking of candy, the city is accepting donations of candy for the event through next Wednesday, Oct. 28. Donations can be dropped off at the Recreation and Parks Department office at 828 NE 8th Ave. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
It should probably go without saying this time of year, but costumes for your little ones are, of course, encouraged.
