WILDWOOD, FL (352today.com) – As America 250 approaches, the City of Wildwood joins the rest of the 352 in getting ready to kick off Fourth of July weekend with its free Happy Birthday America Celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Millennium Park.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday night, and features everything from live music to kids’ zones, food trucks, the city’s 3rd annual pie eating contest and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show.

The schedule of events

  • 6 p.m. – live music from Greg Warren Band begins
  • 7:45 p.m. – 3rd annual pie eating contest
  • 9 p.m. – fireworks begin
  • 10 p.m. – event ends

There will also be a cash bar for adults of legal drinking age with proper ID.

“Traditionally one of the city’s largest annual events, attracting thousands, the 2026 celebration is expected to surpass past attendance records,” read an announcement. “With the city’s Millennium Park undergoing extensive upgrades, additional parking with golf cart access will be available across the street on Powell Road. Parking on Huey Street, adjacent to Wildwood Middle High School, will be served by free shuttle buses throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to carpool and allow additional travel time for traffic congestion.”

Millennium Park is located at 1300 Huey St., adjacent to the Wildwood Community Center at 6500 Powell Rd.
