OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida (CF) is celebrating the grand opening of a brand-new AdventHealth Center for Nursing at the CF Ocala Campus.

The college is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the center to commemorate its opening.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 30, at 10:30 a.m., although the building will open for classes in alliance with the start of the 2025 spring semester on January 8.

The 42,500-square-foot building reportedly cost $20 million, with funding from AdventHealth Ocala, the Marion County Hospital District, the Florida Legislature, the Marion County Board of Commissioners, and other community partners.

The building is named after AdventHealth following a $3 million commitment to CF in September 2024. CF says the money AdventHealth grants will support student scholarships and new program equipment.

The ribbon-cutting event will require an RSVP to attend.
