OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program was recently highlighted in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Colleges list.

U.S. News & World Report regularly issues ranked lists of America’s institutions of higher learning–as well as of other institutions, industries and economic indicators–determined using a multitude of factors and metrics to measure academic quality and graduate success. In its September list of colleges, CF’s RN to BSN program ranked higher than any other Florida state college, placing it among the top in the nation.

A “RN to BSN” program is a specialized educational route for registered nurses with an associate degree (ADN) to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, building on their education and opening the door to more and better career opportunities. CF’s program is fully online, and designed to help working nurses reach next level in their professional journeys.

“Graduates from CF’s bachelor’s degree nursing program have been making our community a healthier place for 10 years,” said Dr. Stephanie Cortes, CF associate vice president for Health Sciences, said in an announcement. “CF’s high quality nursing faculty members provide learners with a valuable education, which is helping to meet the critical need for more nurses in our community. Our students are empowered to thrive in a career that offers countless opportunities.”
