OCALA, FL (352today.com) – There were runs aplenty on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the College of Central Florida as the Patriots took down the Pasco-Hernando Bobcats, 15-11. The teams combined for 29 hits in the game.
The Pats built a 10-3 lead in the second inning when they played eight runs. Juan Concepcion doubled and hit his first home run of the season in the inning driving in three runs. Run-scoring singles by Talan Beckford, Brett House, Cameron Uzzillia and an RBI double by Victor Martinez accounted for the remainder of the runs in the inning.
The Bobcats (18-12, 8-4) fought back from the deficit scoring six runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth to tie the game at 10-10. CF would immediately respond in the bottom of the fifth inning when Tanner Swank tripled and scored on an Ignacio Salaverria single. Cal Johnson doubled in a run while Salaverria scored on a wild pitch. A Martinez sacrifice fly scored the fourth run of the inning. Colson Altman quieted the Bobcats bats over three innings of work allowing only three hits, one run and striking out four. Jose Paniagua pitched a perfect ninth inning striking out the side.
The Patriots travel to Melbourne on Thursday, March 19, 2026, for their next Citrus Conference series to play the Eastern Florida State College Titans. First pitch is at 5:00 PM.
