MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A collision between four semis on I-75 in the early hours of Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, sent one driver to the hospital and forced the closure of the interstate for several hours.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a tractor trailer driver collided with the rear of another semi in stop-and-go traffic just north of the CR 484 interchange, then ran into two more tractor trailers before coming to a stop.
The collision occurred just after midnight Thursday morning.
The driver of the first semi was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and all northbound lanes of I-75 were closed for a considerable amount of time, as traffic was diverted via the CR 484 exit.
