SILVER SPRINGS SHORES, FL (352today.com) – On Tuesday, Nov. 12th, Commissioner Craig Curry officially opened Marion County’s newest pickleball court in Silver Springs Shores.

“Pickleball has taken Silver Springs Shores by storm, and with the sport growing at a rapid pace across the U.S., we’re thrilled to meet the rising demand for more court space,” the county states in a Facebook post.

 

From GLOW pickleball nights to staff-versus-member tournaments and lessons, the county shares that the new court will bring even more fun and activity to the community.

“Let’s celebrate this milestone together and continue to build on the momentum of our incredible community!” the county exclaims.
