OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Grab some milk and get ready to get in line. Crumbl, the popular cookie bakery, is opening its first store in Ocala.

But your craving will have to wait to be satisfied. An opening date can’t be nailed down just yet.

“The store is currently under construction with hopes to open at the end of this year or early next year,” said Becca Bevan, Public Relations Strategist over Grand Opening Media Relations for Crumbl. “That is subject to change depending on construction times and supply chain.”

The store will be located at the Market Street at Heath Brook shopping center at 4414 SW College Road, sandwiched between Talbots on the left and Edo Japanese Steak House on the right.

There are more than 70 Crumbl stores in Florida, including one in Gainesville in Butler Plaza off Southwest 35th Boulevard.

Based on chatter on social media, there’s a lot of anticipation about the cookie chain coming to Ocala.

Crumbl started in 2017 and the company says its rise in popularity has made it the fastest growing and largest cookie company.

The company says rotating flavors, open-concept kitchens, and signature pink boxes are what make cookie lovers crave the sweet treats.

Crumbl started with milk chocolate chip and chilled pink sugar cookies but adds new flavors frequently. The Crumbl website says the brand focuses on “developing unique and delicious cookies inspired by popular flavors, foods, desserts of all kinds – from pies to cakes to candies and more.”

The cookie franchise has more than 800 bakeries in 50 states and Canada.
