OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Miles Curley and Logan Chapman delivered late-inning game-winning hits as the College of Central Florida (CF) Patriots swept Hillsborough Community College on Saturday, 7-6 and 2-0.

In game one, Curley’s two-run single to center in the bottom of the ninth gave CF the walk-off win. He finished with three RBI. Dawson Harman hit his 17th home run and drove in two runs.

Jay Jung was dominant in relief, tossing five scoreless innings with six strikeouts. Arturo Ormaza earned the win to improve to 4-0.

Game two remained scoreless until the sixth inning. Gio Mendoza led off with a double, followed by a walk to Marcus Bradshaw and a wild pitch. Chapman then singled up the middle to drive in both runners. Jose Paniagua pitched the seventh, working around two hits to earn his second save. Peyton Fall picked up the win, striking out three over two shutout innings. Starter Colson Altman allowed just one hit and struck out four in four scoreless frames. Harman added two doubles, while Chapman had two hits and two RBI.

CF improves to 30-11 overall and 15-9 in the Citrus Conference. The Patriots travel to Jacksonville Tuesday to face Florida State College at 3 p.m.
