OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A crash on Interstate 75 (I-75) southbound left a car pinned underneath a tractor-trailer over the weekend.

Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) was dispatched around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday after receiving multiple 9-1-1 calls.

The crash happened near mile-marker 358 on southbound I-75.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says a sedan slammed into the rear of an 18-wheeler that was pulled off the road and parked on the shoulder.

MCFR says the first units arrived within 13 minutes and immediately called for the Special Operations Technical Rescue Team (SOTRT) to extract the vehicle.
