OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a dense fog advisory for most of North Central Florida. The advisory is in effect Monday, Oct. 30, until 10 a.m.
The NWS says visibility is reduced to a quarter mile or less in dense fog, making driving conditions hazardous due to low visibility.
The NWS urges you to reduce your speed this morning, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance between you and other vehicles.
Once the fog burns off this morning, parents will turn their attention to the forecast for tomorrow, Halloween.
Good news… the weather looks great for little ghosts and goblins to trick or treat. The forecast calls for cloudy and cool conditions. The moon will be slightly less than full. That and the cloud cover should make it perfectly spooky for all the costumed kids in your neighborhood.
