OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of stealing about $1,560 worth of lumber from a construction site in the Pioneer Ranch development earlier this month.

The theft occurred Sept. 1 at 8676 SW 68th Terrace Road, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Surveillance footage showed the suspects loading lumber into a van and a car before leaving the site. Deputies said the quality of the footage prevented them from identifying license plate numbers.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicles is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 352-732-9111.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Marion County by calling 352-368-STOP (7867) or visiting http://www.ocalacrimestoppers.com. Tipsters should reference case No. 25-25. Crime Stoppers tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
