OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Welcome to the modern age of thoroughbred sales.

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s (OBS) December digital sale yielded impressive results, with the sale topper fetching $130,000.

The online auction ran from Dec. 12 to Dec. 17, spotlighting a 2-year-old colt by 2020 Horse of the Year Authentic, named Interpleader, as the standout. The bay colt, housed in the barn of trainer Scott Lake at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pa., was purchased by Richard Malouf. This sale arose from a defaulted account settlement.
