OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The run-up to the annual Give4Marion fundraising campaign provides an opportunity for the community to indulge in food and entertainment for a good cause. The 3rd Annual Taste of the Town is taking place on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at The Ocala Downtown Market, 403 SE Osceola Ave, Ocala. Tickets for adults are $50 or $80 for couples and $15 for children ages 12 and under with funds benefiting the Estella Byrd Whitmen Community Health Center.

The Estella Byrd Whitman Community Health Center is a local health center and 501(c)(3) charitable organization located at 819 NW 7th St, Ocala. They provide accessible primary health care in the West Ocala area. Some of the services they offer include chronic care management, specialty care referrals, physical and wellness exams, health education, telehealth and family care. They also accept insurance and offer a sliding fee program. They operate Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

This charity fundraiser will feature libations along with live entertainment by singer and guitarist, Jeff Jarrett. Guests will also have the opportunity to try out a variety of local flavors with samplings of food, sweet treats and alcoholic beverages from a variety of participating restaurants.

Restaurant vendors will be featuring samples that include The Fiery Chef, Graffiti Seafood & More, Mellow Mushroom, Mooyah, Panema Brazilian Steak House, Latinos Y Mas, Depot on Magnolia, Big Hammock, Cantina, Culver’s, Ivy on the Square and many more. For those with a sweet tooth, desert vendors will include The Donut Express, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Honeys Cheesecakes and Candy’s Confections. Some of the alcoholic beverage vendors will include Island Groove Wine Company and Hiatus Brewing Co.
