MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Three people were hospitalized after an early morning drive-by shooting in Marion County.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), deputies responded around 2:56 a.m. Saturday to the 3900 block of SE Maricamp Road after receiving reports of gunfire. Investigators say two adults and one juvenile were inside a vehicle when another car drove by and opened fire, hitting all three.
All three victims were taken to the hospital, and MCSO says that they are currently in stable condition.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting. No further details have been released.
