MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating an accident on Tuesday morning that resulted in the death of a dump truck driver.
FHP says a dump truck loaded with dirt traveled northbound on County Road 225A when it suddenly began crossing into the center lane.
They say the truck veered completely off the road just south of NW 79th Avenue Road and struck a concrete wall on the Golden Ocala Golf Club property.

MCFR says the driver, a 44-year-old man from Dunnellon, was pronounced dead on the scene.
FHP say they are unsure what caused the dump truck to veer off the road.
