SILVER SPRINGS SHORES, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is looking for an unknown number of burglars in the Silver Springs Shores area.
Authorities say the burglars are responsible for the theft of at least five firearms.
MCSO says that the burglars have been targeting unlocked vehicles in the Silver Springs Shores area and have been most active in the early morning, usually between 2 and 5 a.m.

MCSO says the areas of the Shores that have been targeted the most are the Hemlocks, Pecans, and Firs.
The burglars had their faces covered in the photos, but authorities believe someone may recognize them, as they’re likely targeting the same Silver Springs Shores neighborhood where they live.
Anyone with additional information/photographic evidence is prompted to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 352-732-9111.
